Darren Mills, owner / stylist
Darren began his hairdressing career in 1988. Having survived the bad hair days of the '80's he became passionate about haircolor and the cutting techniques of Vidal Sassoon. He has attended the Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica twice, worked as a haircolor educator for Logics and specializes in both modern and period hairstyling. He moved to New York City in 2000 where he worked professionally in theater, film and television for 5 years. After nearly 20 years in the industry he opened Frida in 2007 with an eye on creating a unique salon experience for clients and staff members.
