In September 2007 Darren and Olympia photographer Gerry Oar (www.geraldoar.com) collaborated on "Portraits Noir," a serious of portraits inspired by famed Hollywood photographer George Hurrell. Hurrell shot several glamorous actresses in the 1930's, capturing images that would help define the look of Golden Age of Hollywood. He rarely used more than two light sources, a technique recreated here by Gerry. Darren created the hairstyles & make-up and styled the models using vintage garments & accessories.
